ADMISSION PROCESS --
1. The online application process for admission
to class 1 and 7 for the academic year 2018-19
beginning in April 2018 is closed.
2. The online application form for admission to
class 1 for the academic session 2019-20 will be
available from mid-September 2018 and for class 7
will be available from mid-February 2019.
3. The admission test
(English, Maths & Science) for class 7 will be held
on Saturday 17.03.2018 from 09.00 - 10.30 am.
Candidates must reach the venue latest by 08.45 am
with a copy of the printed application form and
other documents (mentioned when you filled the
form). The candidate must wear the photo identity
card of his current school. Those who are
shortlisted for admission will be intimated through
SMS on Tuesday 03.04.2018 after 05.00 pm.
4. Application form for admission to class 11
(science, commerce & humanities streams) will be
given after 16 April 2018. To know the exact date,
time & venue, please follow this webpage.
5. Currently there are no vacancies for other
classes. To know the vacancies status, please follow
this web page after 10 April 2018.
6. Admission to all classes for the current academic
year (2017-18) is closed.

St. Xavier's Collegiate School was
established in the year 1860 in Kolkata, India by the
Jesuits (missionary priests belonging to the order of the
Society of Jesus). The School comprises of two school
buildings separated by an intersection; one building
pertains to the Primary Section (classes Prep - 5) and the
other houses the Secondary section (classes 6-12). The
Secondary section shares the campus alongside the College.
The school is a Catholic Institution but admits and houses
students from all religious denominations, caste and creed.
In fact non-Christian students make up a large segment of
St. Xavier's Collegiate School as it stands today is
affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate
Examinations that conducts ICSE and ISC Examinations for
class 10 and 12 respectively. The school is also affiliated
to the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education that
conducts the Madhyamik Examination for class 10. Students
may choose between the two boards as per their choice and
preference. But in the recent years there has not been too
many registrations for the Madhyamik Examination. Most
students or all are opting for the Indian School Certificate
Examinations in Class 10.
The academic session of the school is from April to March.
Saturday and Sunday are the normal weekly holidays.
